ImLive is one of the leaders in the adult live sex chat industry. They’re going on their 9th year and have over 20,000 registered chathosts. At the time of my review there were close to 1500 chathosts online. I remember when they first came on the scene. Seems like they came out of nowhere. There were some other big sites at the time but IMlive passed them by and pretty much left them in the dust. They have a lot of nice features and show some creativity with their promotions. It really is one of the better sites out there.
Some Notes on ImLive
- Pricing – $1.98 starting price is fair. You can find cheaper prices if chathosts are offering a coupon or participating in the Happy Hour feature. That’s a feature where selected chathosts will be performing at a discounted rate. One thing I really don’t like as a viewer is the credits system.
- Chathost Quality – I’d say it’s average. I did a recent scan of the galleries and out of 70 models, I’d say at least 10 were very good looking. I’m probably more picky than the average viewer. They do allow you to mark a chathost as favorites so you don’t need to keep looking around. They have a lot of foreign models as well so some chathosts might not have a very fast stream or a very clear picture.
- Site Features – I’d say their features are better than most but they’re not the top in my book. I’ll list their features down below.
- Stream Quality – I’ll say average. They have a lot of foreign models so there are some slow chats and not so clear cams. However, with 1400+ models online, you will definitely be able to find chathosts with excellent quality streaming.
I’ll talk a little bit about their features here. Overall, they are better than most. One feature I really like and they don’t have is being able to integrate a phone call with the chat. Maybe I’m being too picky. You can use a microphone if you do cam2cam.
- Fulfill Your Fantasy- If you’re one of the viewers with a unique fetish or special request, then you can post what you are looking for in the Fulfill Your Fantasy board. Then models can reply and let you know they are interested. Without this feature, you’d have to take a chance on any model and you have no idea if they can fulfill your wish. So this feature brings the qualified chathosts directly to you so you don’t need to search by trial and error.
- Celebrity Events – ImLive will announce whenever they have a celebrity pornstar performing. Their prices run higher but you know they’ll be worth it.
- Group Cams - You can do a show with two models at the same time. First model would be at her regular price and the second model would be at a discounted price.
- Happy Hour - Explained above
- Live Viewer - You can watch several chathosts at the same time.
- Snapshot taking - You’ll be able to take ‘snapshots’ during your show.
Overall I’d recommend ImLive. I may have sounded a little too critical in my reviews but with their large number of chathosts online, you will have no problem whatsoever finding a sexy chathost to play with.
